From my 20 + years experience; sexual healing is about healing the wound we carry. Perhaps we were sexually abused as children or raped as a teenager or adult. We are still carrying the trauma, stigma, or energy of that event or time in this life or a past life. I am a sexual healer and I go right to the core issue and healing the damage that was done. A Midsummer’s Nights Dream Project was how Dark Mistress the Night Queen was created.
I went to the bookstore to scan the Shakespeare play to determine what theme I would use. I saw fairies, magic, a love story, and several themes that would work. When I sat down to formulate it was another story.
The feeling I had was to create a night perfume...with flowers and attributes of the night. Not a Solstice perfume but a unique fragrance of what night time scents are out there to fascinate your nose.
