Case Study 3:
Bhi had spent years trying out different diets and personal trainers in an effort to lose weight. She was exhausted, had PCOD, adrenal fatigue, UTI, hormonal imbalances and had lost interest in sex. She was only a few pounds overweight, so I knew that weight release could not be our goal. We uncovered the inner critic’s voice (her mother’s voice) ruling her life, calmed it down, put in a bunch of reframes (the inner critic does not receive reframes as it cannot be reprogammed. Reframes are a separate set of new neural pathways). Q. What about my increasing weight?
What about it?! Body shaming, especially for women is a huge part of the I am not good enough. There cannot be a one a one-size-fits-all of thinness. You will either see how much healthier and stronger you feel or you will appreciate the body as it is. Common sense regimes of eating on time and correctly as well as 20 minute walks or jogs or runs (there will be a desire to to use the lower body more) in the morning and evening with simple body twists will do wonders for you. If the body has been on your mind obsessively, you need to come on board pronto!
